UTK/Kinder 2024/2025 Information Night Presentation

August 10, 2024

UTK/Kinder Play Date: Come meet friends, buy some spirit wear and play on the McGaugh kindergarten playground from 10:00am-11:00am (teachers do not attend).

August 13, 2024

The UTK/Kinder Meet and Greet/Popsicle Posting Party: Come with your student to meet their classroom teacher and some classmates, from 2:00pm-3:00pm, at the bike racks, near the lunch benches. 

August 14, 2024

1. 7:55am Tardy Bell rings: Families are welcome on campus beginning at 7:40am.  Please give yourself an ample amount of time to drive to school and find parking.  The first day of school is VERY busy and you may have to walk a distance to the campus.  

2. Please do not park in the parking lot on the corner of Seal Beach Blvd. and Bolsa Ave., as this is for staff only.  All of the streets adjacent to the school are available for parking as well as the pool parking lot. 

3. 11:00am UTK/Kindergarten Dismissal: All students will be released directly to adults at the door of the UTK/Kindergarten classrooms.  

4. Back to School Night (UTK/Kinder): Parents only, please join us in the McGaugh Auditorium at 5:30pm. Classroom presentations will begin at 6:00pm.

 

August 15 - 30, 2024, Welcome Conferences (UTK/Kinder Only)

1. Minimum Day schedule with dismissal at 12:30pm so teachers can assess students and meet with parents in the afternoons to discuss assessment results.  Pick-up at the front of the school gates. At Back-to-School night your teacher will notify you as to which gate is your pick-up gate.  Please be sure to have your student bring a snack and lunch (or they can get lunch in the cafeteria)

 

Beginning September 3, 2024

1. UTK/Kinder dismissal is at 1:20pm daily (M-F).
