Teachers now have the option of using Zoom to host online classes:
Student's may receive a message that they are unauthorized to access the meeting. To fix the error: Log out of the Zoom Meeting App on the device, and then use the "Log in with Google" option to log back into the app, selecting your student's @GoLosAl account. Watch a video guide for the process.
If your student is experiencing any difficulties accessing the Google Meet sessions:
Make sure your student is using Chrome as their browser
Google Meet and the other distance learning platforms all recommend Chrome.
Make sure your student is logged into Google with their @GoLosAl account when accessing Google Meet:
Make sure you have the Google Meet link from your student's teacher(s):
Teachers have emailed out their Google Meet links to families. If you did not receive the link, or have a school/classroom specific need please contact your principal or your school's main office.
The Google Meet link may initially say that your student is unable to open the meeting. The meeting room does not open until the teacher has logged in and started the meeting.
